Assalaamu Alaykum, My name is Joey Heath.  I am a new Muslim and I reverted a year ago. I was raised LDS. I attended church every week and attended the temple once a week for several years.

I found Islam as I had questions that no one could answer. You can only take so many people saying, "Have you prayed? 

 Have you read your scriptures?

There is not an answer for everything." So I went on the internet and began looking. I checked out many religions. I found a web-site that would put you in contact with someone that you could ask questions of about Islam.

After about six months of e-mailing with this person, I met my new friend in person and we talked.

A few months later I decided I had found the answers I had been looking for and set up with my friend to say my Shahadah. I am grateful that I found Islam and that I am a member of this wonderful family. Your Sister in Islam,
